Comes when our Hearts
belong to Jesus
When we give our hearts to Jesus, we begin a journey of transformation that brings wholeness to every part of who we are — our mind, emotions, and will. In following Him, our fragmented inner world starts to come into alignment. The truth of Christ renews our thinking, His love heals our emotional wounds, and His Spirit empowers our choices. Rather than being pulled in different directions by fear, confusion, or self-interest, we are invited into a life of integration — where our thoughts, feelings, and actions are increasingly shaped by His grace, truth, and presence.
a prayer for wholeness
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for praying for us — that we might be one with You, just as You are one with the Father. We open our hearts to You now, asking that You would continue Your work of making us whole.
Let our minds be shaped by Yours — filled with truth, humility, and clarity. Teach us to think with the wisdom that comes from above, not from fear or pride.
Let our emotions be filled with the fruit of Your Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Heal what is wounded and renew what is weary.
Let our wills be aligned with the Father’s — surrendered to His purposes, and eager to walk in His righteousness. Give us the strength to choose what is good, even when it is hard, and the grace to follow You fully.
Make us whole, Lord, from the inside out — united in heart, soul, and purpose with You. And may our lives reflect Your love and glory to the world around us.
In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
DO YOU TRUST Jesus ?
Listen to his prayer. "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
In John 17:20–21, Jesus prays not only for His disciples, but for all who would believe in Him through their message — that includes us. He asks the Father that we “may all be one,” just as He and the Father are one, and that through this unity the world would believe that the Father sent Him. This prayer shows us something deeply personal: Jesus was thinking of us before He went to the cross. He wasn't just concerned about doctrine or behavior — He was longing for a relationship, for unity, and for us to live in the love He shares with the Father.
When we see that Jesus prayed for our oneness with Him and with one another, it builds our trust. It reminds us that His heart is not distant or demanding, but tender, relational, and deeply invested in our wholeness. Knowing that He prayed for our faith and our connection with Him gives us confidence to follow — not out of obligation, but out of love. It moves our trust from a concept to a person — the One who knows us, prays for us, and leads us into unity with the Father through Himself.

closing prayer
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, humbly asking for Your mercy and grace on New England. Please stir the hearts of your people to seek You in prayer. Unite Your church in truth and love. Let the gospel of Jesus Christ be boldly preached, and may it transform lives, homes, and states across this region, in our nation, and throughout our world.
